From The East

Fall is here, and I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween this year with lots of candy, and awesome Little Trick or Treaters.
Our November Stated Meeting is our Annual Election of Officers for the ensuing Masonic year. Please mark your calendar to attend. These men have been working extra hard to get qualified. Let’s show them your support.
Congratulations to our newly raised Master Masons, Brothers Charles Menz, Christopher Milan and Evan Beecher. Welcome to the Fraternity Men!
Worshipful John Scofield is heading up our annual turkey drive this year. Please bring a turkey or check made out to Sunrise Food Ministries so we can help those who are less fortunate in our local community.
Remember to watch your email and Trestleboard for upcoming events and information
Fraternally, Chad Riffe, Master

From The West

Greetings from the West, Brethren! Autumn has arrived, and with it the tasks that the changing year brings. Leaves are being raked, gutters are getting cleaned and likewise around the lodge, preparations are being made for the coming Masonic Year.
As I finish up next year’s calendar and budget, I would like to “open up the floor” for ideas that I may not have thought of. If there any events or programs you think worthy of the lodge’s support, please let me know and we’ll see if it can be accommodated.
As always, thank you to everyone for your continued support of the Sunrise Food Locker. Your generous donations are so much appreciated, especially during this time of the year.
I look forward to seeing you at the lodge.
Fraternally, Brian Evers, Senior Warden

From The South
The October Stated Meeting Dinner had a very small turnout, but it was a great meal! The German themed dinner was delicious and filling. I understand other Masonic organizations also had an Oktoberfest themed meal, which may account for the low attendance. November is HSJ Lodge Election month, and both the meeting and dinner are highly attended, so please get your reservations to me early.
November 7th will be our last Rusty Trowel and BBQ for 2016. The Rusty Trowel Sessions can provide a vast amount of Masonic knowledge, which resides in the minds of our Past Masters, so if you are in need of some “Light”, this is your chance to get some. The BBQ is also a big hit and only $5.00, so an accurate count is necessary. Please RSVP to me if you are planning to eat.
Just a Friendly Reminder, Stated Meeting Dinner Reservations are Required. See “What’s for Dinner?” for the details, highlights, and reservation options.

Hall BoardGreetings from your hall board. We should be finalizing the bids on our parking lot lighting at our next hall board meeting. Thanks to Wor. Jim Poindexter and Wor. John Scofield for their work on repairing the leaky toilets and the dishwasher drains. We are still searching for a church to rent our facility on Sundays. Fraternally, Tom Tompkins, P.M., President |
