From The EastSeptember is here already and summer vacation has come to an end. As the fall season begins and cooler weather approaches, the lodge emerges from hibernation. September is Constitutional Observance month! This month brings us the holidays of Labor day and Patriot day. Your officers have been working diligently this summer to qualify for advancement. This month they will be back at work and ready to shine as always. Congratulations to Robert D. Henning who has accepted an appointment to serve as Marshal for the remainder of this year! I am pleased to announce that Past Grand Master, Most Worshipful John L. Cooper III will be our speaker this month for Constitutional Observance. I hope you will be able to attend this wonderful opportunity to hear him speak. He will give a short talk on the Constitutional Convention of 1787 called "Miracle at Philadelphia." I look forward to seeing you there. Don’t forget, the 166th Annual Communication of The Grand Lodge of California is October 9th - 11th at the Masonic Memorial Temple in San Francisco. I will be there. If you can, I highly recommend you attend. That’s it for now! So until next time I want to wish you all the best and a Happy Labor Day! Let us never forget those that lost their lives and those who continue to fight on Patriot Day! If you need anything, want to get involved, or just want to enjoy some fellowship please feel free to contact me anytime. Fraternally, Paul Cary, Master From The WestBrethren, Ladies, Family and Friends: I hope that everyone had a wonderful summer. I am ready for some nice fall weather in the upcoming months. Our food drive is another great success this year and is a wonderful project for the less fortunate in our community. A big thank you from your Senior Warden and the recipients of the food locker. And a very special thank you to Worshipful Jim Poindexter for getting all of the food over to the food locker in my absence. Please mark your calendar for October 24th. We will be having our annual Fall Festival at the Lodge again this year complete with a tri-tip/chicken dinner and costume contest! Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. If you have anything you would like to donate to the silent auction please contact Jennifer Riffe. Fraternally, Chad Riffe, Senior Warden We extend our Best Wishes for every happiness on your birthday and every day throughout the coming year. Please remember to bring your canned food donations for our Community Service Project Food Locker! | From The SouthBrethren, Ladies, Family and Friends: I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer.
