From The EastNovember is once again upon us. This month is the beginning of the transition from the old to the new in our officers Masonic journey through the line to the Oriental Chair in the East. We start that journey with the Annual Election of Officers at the November Stated Meeting and proceed to the Installation of Officers on December 12th. The month of November brings us so many wonderful holidays that are cemented into our Great Country. We start with the celebration of beloved Veterans. Thank you to all the Veterans and may the Great Architect of The Universe bless you all! We also give many thanks to the things we cherish in our daily lives on Thanksgiving! This last month your Pillar Officers visited the Annual Communication at Grand Lodge. We met so many great Masons from all of this great State of ours and the World. We also learned so many things that we will have the pleasure to share with the entire lodge. We have had so many wonderful opportunities to celebrate our Golden Veterans this last year and we have another this month. We appreciate your support at every one of our amazing Stated Meetings! Please remember that this month is our Annual Turkey Drive! Please see the Junior Warden’s “From the South” message for additional information. That’s it for now! So until next time, I want to wish you all the best and a Happy Veterans Day and may you have the Best Thanksgiving! If you need anything, want to get involved, or just want to enjoy some fellowship, please feel free to contact me anytime. Fraternally, Paul Cary, Master From The WestBrethren, Ladies, Family and Friends: Thank you to Brothers Brian Evers and Jeffery Robertson for putting on a wonderful Fall Festival. And thank you to all who attended…A fun time was had by all! A big thank you to all of those that have donated to the food locker. Your continued support is much appreciated. This month is our Turkey Drive and if each and every one of us donate a turkey we can surpass last year’s donations! You can also make a cash/check donation and we will get it over to them. If you’d like to write a check please make it payable to the “Sunrise Christian Food Ministry”. This year’s Annual Communication (Grand Lodge) was a blast! There were six of us that took the train down and rode the cable car, too! I encourage everyone to experience it at least once during your Masonic journey. Our Annual Installation of 2016 Officers is December 12th at 2 p.m….Please mark your calendar and save the date! I look forward to seeing you there. Fraternally, Chad Riffe, Senior Warden From The SouthBrethren, Ladies, Family and Friends: Frozen Turkeys Needed! November is upon us and our biggest project of the year is here, our food and turkey drive for the Sunrise Food Locker. Please help us make this another successful event. Your food, frozen turkey and cash donations are desperately needed to help feed those in need in our Citrus Heights neighborhood. All donations stay within our area and are greatly needed. Please help our lodge support the food locker with your donation. We will take food, checks, cash or whatever works for you. You can call me, our Master or Senior Warden. WE WILL COME PICK UP YOUR DONATION if you cannot get it to the lodge. We will be looking to get the frozen turkeys from Nov 11th until Nov 25th. Please help with a donation! The November 11th Stated Meeting dinner will again be prepared by Rich Gardner of Granite Rock Grill (see below), and the Job’s Daughters have a delicious dessert planned. I look forward to seeing you at dinner and in Lodge this month! Fraternally, Brian Evers, Junior Warden
