What's for Dinner?
The Stated Meeting Dinner Menu: Beef Stew, Salad, Bread, and a Delicious Dessert!
The newly elected and continuing Hall Board Directors met on January 2, 2013. An Election of Officers for the year 2013 resulted in Director Don Bagley being elected as President, Dave Hahn, Vice President, Bob Jackson as Treasurer and Jim Poindexter as Secretary. After an Invocation and Salute to Our Flag, our Newly Elected President opened the Meeting for business at 7:30 p.m. The Board was made aware that the Church Rental had terminated on December 31, 2012 and the Rental/Lease Manager was actively seeking a new renter.
To get the new year started, President Bagley made the following appointments, Bob Jackson as Rental/Lease Manager, Jim Poindexter as Building Maintenance Manager and Gary Roberts to Chair the Capital Improvement Committee. President Bagley further directed Director Roberts to appoint two Committeemen and report back at the March Business Meeting with their recommendations. The President presented a Budget for the 2013 year. Estimated Operating Expense came to $30,000. In order to meet estimated expenses we need to generate an additional rental income this year of about $12,000. Utilities continue to be a major cost item and tenants are urged to use heating and air conditioning judiciously. Any help in finding a new tenant to fill the Sunday calendar would be greatly appreciated. Please make referrals to Bob Jackson.
Fraternally, Don Bagley, P.M., President
From the West
Brethren, Greetings from the West. I hope everyone had a great time at the Crab Feed. I know I did. It was good to see all who came to our event.
Please remember to bring your canned food donations to any of our meetings. Now that Christmas is over, people don't give as much, so please remember those in our community who are in need. I will update you throughout the year for any and all donation needs. See you at the Lodge.
Fraternally, Tom Angello, Senior Warden
