Brethren, our Annual Installation is fast approaching. Please attend Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. to support Bro. Paul Cary as Master-Elect of the Lodge. We have experienced a good year at our Lodge with new members joining and advancing. Congratulations to Walter W. Hastings on receiving his First Degree. Our Annual Turkey Drive was a total success. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations for this wonderful cause. It certainly is a good feeling to be able to help those less fortunate than us at this time of year. Thank you again everyone. And I hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving. We do have a lot to be thankful for. Watch this Trestleboard for events and news about you and your Lodge! Fraternally, Tom Angello, Master From the WestBrethren, Ladies, Family & Friends! The holiday season is upon us once again. Fun times for all, with gift giving and receiving. I hope that you get what you want this holiday season. I want to thank all the brethren for entrusting me as the Master-Elect for 2015. I hope to make good use of this year, as many Masters have done before me. The Year sure went by fast! We had lots of degrees and events that made the year great. We plan to continue this in 2015 by having the same and lots more! Bringing brothers and their families back to lodge is an important goal for me and the 2015 Masonic Year. I would like to make 2015 a year focused on this and Masonic education and our youth. I hope you all will join me in celebrating these focuses for 2015. Please remember that the Lodge installation is happening this month on Saturday, December 13th at 2 p.m. Also the Annual Crab Feed is on January 10th. Please see the lodge website under events for details. You can also pay for your tickets online too. In closing, I want to wish you and your families all a very happy holiday season. I hope to see you soon at Lodge. There is a lot going on and it sure would be great to share it with more of our Brothers. Fraternally, Paul Cary, Senior Warden To all our Brothers this month. We extend our Best Wishes for every happiness on your birthday and every day throughout the coming year. Hall BoardThe hall board is looking for a Building Maintenance Manager, please call Tom Tompkins for more information. One of our lodge members has donated a flag pole and flag for our building. A heart felt thank you for your donation. We are checking on the possibility of installing a metal patio cover in the rear of the lodge to replace the one we removed because of safety concerns. We will keep you posted on this project. The hall board is looking for a church to rent the lodge building on Sundays, if you know of an organization that may be interested, please let Bob Jackson know. Fraternally, Tom Tompkins, P.M., President | Greetings from the South. I wish to thank all of those that prepared and served meals for us during this past year. Thank you for your support. I would like to thank all of those that contributed to our Annual Turkey and Food Drive. The food bank across the street is so grateful for YOUR contributions. YOU are helping many needy families in the Citrus Heights area Thank You so much for your turkeys or cash contribution. Happy Holidays. As we move forward into 2015 the exciting news is: We will be having our dinners catered. We are close to making a decision on who to select. Unfortunately my friends WE WILL BE HAVING TO RAISE OUR PRICE. Yes it has been many years that are dinners were just $10.00. But as costs continue to rise so must our prices. Be watching your January Trestleboard for final details on this great opportunity. Reservations for dinner WILL BE A MUST. If you do not make a reservation we may not be able to guarantee you a dinner. So please call or email or text the Junior Warden for your reservation. As I move, once again, to Senior Warden for 2015, I am excited and looking forward to a great year. Your officers will be busy. Won’t you please come and join us for a degree? We love side liners. Watch your Trestleboard for dates. See you for Stated Meeting Dinner on Dec 10th. The Job’s Daughters will be preparing and serving the December Stated Meeting Dinner. See “What’s for Dinner” below for details. Don’t forget to make your reservation for this dinner also.
