Congratulations to Brothers Bruce Gavin and Jeff Anders for being passed to the Fellowcraft Degree and also congratulations to Brother Morgan Zumaeta for being raised to The Sublime Degree of Master Mason.

At our November Stated Meeting we held our annual Election of Officers. Welcome to all the incoming officers and congratulations to all of you. Brother Tom Angello for being elected to serve as Master of the Lodge, Paul Cary as Senior Warden, Chuck Oldes as Junior Warden, Chad Riffe as Senior Deacon, Brian Evers as Junior Deacon, Our Stewards Jeffrey Robertson and Steve Loebach, Our Marshall Eldon Vipond, our Chaplain Dick Lewis, our Secretary Wor Bob Peterson, our Treasurer Wor Ed Rose and our Tiler Wor. Don Bagley. You will the serve the Lodge well. What a great group of men..

Thank you also to John Steiner from the Patriot Guard Riders for coming to our meeting and sharing his stories and for informing us as to who and what the PGR are. What an awesome and dedicated group of citizens. Thank you for all you do for our Veterans.

Our Annual Turkey Drive was a total success. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations for this wonderful cause. It certainly is a good feeling to be able to help those less fortunate than us at this time of year. Thank you again everyone. And I hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving. We do have a lot to be thankful for.

This is my last Trestleboard for my Year. It has been a great year. With your assistance we helped a brother in need. With your help we assisted a family in their need to put their father in his final resting place. We had some parties and had fun. We helped out a couple other Grand Lodges in their time of disaster. I just can’t say thank you enough to all of you for your help in making this a great year for me.

Our Installation of 2014 Officers will be held at the San Juan Masonic Center on Sunday, December 15th at 11 a.m. Please not the time change. Don’t be late!

Brethren, I want to thank Worshipful John Scofield for personally helping me this year. You’ve helped me get my year started on the right foot. Thank you.

This year’s coat drive was a success! My wife and I
delivered over 200 coats, large and small, to Loaves and Fishes.

Thank you to every one who donated a turkey and fixins for this years Turkey Drive. Its good to give.

Now would also be a good time to buy your Crab Feed tickets, if you haven’t done so already.

Thank you to the Officers Coaches and Candidates coaches, who have donated so much of their time this year. Their contribution is often unnoticed!

Merry Christmas to everyone and see you at the Installation.

Brethren, Ladies, Family & Friends: We had a great turn out for the November Stated Meeting Dinner and the Annual Election of Officers. Thank you all for your continued support.

Well, the month of December brings us the holiday
season. Seasons Greetings to everyone. We have a wonderful dinner planned for this month. The Stated Meeting dinner will be on Wednesday, December 11th at 6:30 p.m. The Job’s Daughters Bethel 292 will be preparing and serving the dinner. Please see “What’s for Dinner?” below for details.

We have the “Best $5 Breakfast West of Reno” happening on December 28th, 2013 at 8:00 a.m., I hope to see you all there.

What's for Dinner?

December 11th at 6:30 p.m.

The Stated Meeting dinner menu: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Veggies, Bread, Salad and Desert.

Hall Board

At the November 6th Hall Board Meeting the Directors authorized the Building Maintenance Manager to have the metal fencing around the property painted using an electrostatic application process to insure good coverage. This work should be done by the end of November before it gets too cold.

At the November Stated Meeting Brother L. Robert “Bob” Jackson was reelected to another 3 year term on the Hall Board. Also elected to a 3 year term were Brothers Herbert W. “Tom” Tompkins III, P.M. and Henning Mortensen. Worshipful Master John R. Scofield, soon to be Past Master was elected to fill out remaining two years of Brother Arthur W. “Dart” Winship’s three year term. Brother Winship has resigned for personal reasons. All of these terms are effective January 1, 2014. I am sure you can look forward to the 2014 Directors taking good care of their trust of maintaining the building plus continuing to improve the premises. On behalf of the Hall Board Directors I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
