Hello Brethren and Ladies,
November is upon us and another month with no lodge meetings or practices. This has been a difficult experience for us all and we sincerely hope this pandemic will be behind us soon.
Our Annual Communication was held on October 10th and 11th. Congratulation to Worshipful Thom Pryor who was installed as Junior Grand Steward for our upcoming Masonic year. This Communication was done all virtually, the first time in the history of our Grand Lodge.
Our Grand Master had two recommendations that were both passed. Brother Robert Henning, our Junior Warden, will go into more detail in his November Trestleboard article.
There were also several Masonic Trials that took place this past Masonic year. Thank goodness our lodge does not have any of the issues of greed and unmasonic behavior that some other lodges endure. I thank you all for being good and honest masons and promoting the values that we all swore to obey.
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving- Enjoy time with family and friends and be thankful for what we all have been blessed with.

Brothers and Ladies,
Watching the Grand Lodge virtual election, installation and voting was a very interesting experience. It went much better than I thought it would. Congratulations to all the people that made this event possible for most of the brothers to attend virtually during this pandemic crisis. I also would like to congratulate all the elected and installed officers especially to our Worshipful Tom Pryor as our Junior Grand Steward.
Please stay safe everyone especially with the flu season coming in I am hoping that it won’t make this crisis worse than it is now. If anybody need help with something just reach out with the other brothers? God bless everyone and stay safe.

Well our 171st Annual Communication is now over, and Most Worshipful John Trauners year is now gone. His two recommendations were unanimously passed. His first recommendation to conduct certain lodge businesses during emergencies and his second announcement to carry over legislation to the 2021 annual communication were voted on and approved. Lodge ceremonies will be conducted when we get the OK in the future. All Grand lodge officers were elected and installed along with appointed officers on Sunday. Worshipful Shawn Metroka our Grand Orator gave a great presentation on Masonry and our History and he was also elected to Junior Grand Warden for the ensuing year. Most Worshipful John Cooper 111 was given the lifetime achievement award ( Well deserved ) and last but not least Our brother Thom Pryor was appointed Junior Grand Steward, an honor also well-deserved and we wish him well in his year in this capacity. Our new Grand Master Arthur H. Weiss and his elected officers passed the new budget for the ensuing year and our per capita has been set. Rainbow, Jobs daughters and DeMolay officers were recognized .There were over 1800 people present on Zoom and 290 lodges represented, A first and hopefully the last when we will get to open our lodges in the future. Hang in there my brethren, things will get better, we will keep you informed as to when we can conduct business in the lodge or online. Stay safe and God bless.

Greetings Brethren and Ladies from your Hall Board
Things are still incredibly quiet. As you know, during this pandemic our lodge has been dark for all activities. Our Brother Secretary, Bob Jackson, has regularly visited our lodge to ensure that our facility was secure and to continue his duties as Secretary which is ongoing even though our building is vacant. Thank you, Brother Bob, for your efforts.
Just as a reminder, when we are permitted to open again, we will be charged to disinfect our lodge after each meeting of every tenant. This will be necessary to ensure that our lodge will remain safe for everyone who attends.
Thank You for your understanding and patience.

Masons 4 Mitts

Masons 4 Mitts in partnership with the Junior Giants. The Junior Giants, a program of the Community Fund, serves more than 15,000 children and has more than 5,000 volunteer coaches. They started in 1994 to teach confidence, integrity, leadership, and teamwork to at-risk youth. The Junior Giants now have more than 70 leagues of boys and girls ages 5 to 18, from Stockton to Eureka. Currently, only about 30 percent of the Junior Giants kids have their own baseball mitts. Our goal is to provide 2,500 mitts this year! The Junior Giants can leverage their buying power to purchase baseball mitts for $20 each. If 2,500 of the 10,000 Bay Area Masons make a personal $20 gift, we can achieve our goal – and bring America’s national past time to 2,500 Bay Area kids.
