Hello Brethren and Ladies,
I hope you are all well and safe. Lots of smoke in the air so stay inside if you can. Still no word from our Grand Master as to when we might be able to meet again. The Annual Communication this year will be mostly via Zoom as far as I know. Saturday October 10th. at 10:00 is when things start. I will get our Secretary Brother Bob Jackson and our Assistant Secretary Worshipful Paul Cary to send out the instructions on the Zoom procedure. Grand Lodge should send them out as well. We are honored to have one of our members Worshipful Thom Pryor serving as Junior Grand Steward for the upcoming Masonic year. Please tune in on Saturday October 10th via Zoom to watch the installation.
Have you checked out the new Grand Lodge Website? (Freemason.org) Lots of good information for all masons young and senior. While you are exploring the Freemason.org website, go to the education tab and look at the study guides for Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason and take the exams if you have not already done so. There you will also find the Lodge Management Certification Program which includes Lodge Finance, Hall Association, Lodge Administration and Member Experience. There is a study guide and an exam for each of these courses. Have fun, it will be a better experience than organizing your sock drawer again.
FYI- Your lodge now has a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED), thanks to Worshipful Brian Evers for securing this devise. Several members of your Hall Board will be attending a certification class for the new AED. Hopefully, we will never have to use it. Better safe than sorry.
Stay well until we can get together again.

Brothers and Ladies,
Another month has past and it’s really been hard for everybody. I really don’t have much to say but to just stay positive and pray to the great architect that this will soon be over. If anybody needs help with anything, remember that you have brothers you can reach out if you needed help with something. Stay busy to keep your mind of what is going with the world today and treat every day as a blessings. Stay safe and bless you all.

Hello Brethren and Ladies,
Over 6 months of Covid-19 Isolation, fires, riots and destruction, we are no closer to a resolution as to when we can get back to normal and open the lodge, if there will ever be a normal. The Annual Communication this year will be a Zoom meeting online with the installation of officers on Sunday, Worshipful Thom Pryor is to Accept the Junior Grand Stewart position and we are looking forward to seeing that presentation. Please when you get time, check out the new Grand Lodge website (www.freemason.org) and check out the study guides-very informative. To get into the website you need to type www.freemason.org and on the top right go to “FOR MEMBERS” and you will be in.
Donate brothers if you can to the “Masons 4 Mitts” http://www.masons4mitts.org/ and to the Masonic Relief program.
Stay safe my Brothers, keep hope, and after November 3rd pray that things will get better.

Hallboard

Greetings Brethren and Ladies,
Well, here comes Fall. Lots of smoke and we are still locked down.
You will be please to know that several projects have been completed around your lodge.
The parking lots have been resurfaced and new lines painted on. Looks great.
The painting on the interior has been completed and looks exceptionally good. Come by and see what a difference a coat of fresh paint makes.
A special thank you to Worshipful John Scofield for overseeing the installation of the turbine on the Jobs Daughters/Eastern Star Storage container. Also, installing the shelf in the custodian’s closet.
Brother Bob Jackson is reworking the sign out front and by the time you receive this Trestleboard, that project should be completed.
Thank you to Worshipful Brian Evers for making sure the lodge has a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Some of your hall board members will become certified in operating this new devise. We will keep you posted.
Please stay well, wear your mask when you cannot “social distance” at least 6 feet.
